GENERAL DENTISTRY
Prevention: keeping teeth healthy
We recognise the importance of prevention in dentistry. We offer the preventive application of fluoride varnish to children from the age of 4 years. All adult patients are screened for oral cancer at check-ups and x-rays are taken at regular intervals to detect potential problems early. The condition of the gums is also checked regularly and appropriate treatment is offered.
Periodontal treatment: looking after the condition of the gums and other supporting structures
Any early signs of gum disease will be identified and remedial treatment offered to patients. Our dental hygienist can work with these patients to improve their gum health and prevent future deterioration.

Tooth Alignment
We are able to offer alignment of crooked, crowded and spaced teeth in adults using an innovative tooth-coloured bracket system or clear aligners. We offer a free initial consultation. 0% finance is available over 12 months.
Dental Implants
We are able to offer patients with missing teeth long-lasting replacements using
Ankylos implants
. These may be in the form of a crown attached to an implant, a fixed bridge attached to implants or a removable denture attached to implants.
Dr Ganesh, who has received further training in Implant dentistry, has been providing this treatment at this practice since 2013. Two other dentists have also received training in restoring implants.
If you are interested in exploring this option please book in for an implant assessment which would involve a thorough examination of the mouth and an assessment of the bone available for implant placement. X-rays, photos and impressions for study models will also be taken. The cost of this assessment is £80. If a CT scan is required then a further fee of £200 would be payable.
