Dr Vikash Patel is the Principal Dentist of the practice, dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centred dentistry with a focus on precision, quality and long-term oral health.

He graduated from Cardiff University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Committed to clinical excellence, Dr Patel has undertaken extensive postgraduate training, including a Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London in 2013.

He is also a Member of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

Dr Patel has a particular interest in restorative dentistry, dental implants and orthodontics. He completed advanced training in dental implantology in 2022 and provides a range of orthodontic treatments, including fixed braces, removable appliances, the 32Co clear aligner system and Invisalign. His approach focuses on delivering functional, aesthetic and long-lasting results tailored to each patient.

Known for his calm, attentive and meticulous manner, Dr Patel takes time to understand his patients’ goals and concerns, ensuring a collaborative and personalised approach to care.

Dr Sonam Patel
Principal Dentist

Dr Sonam Patel is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist, known for her gentle, caring and patient-focused approach.

She graduated from the University of Manchester in 2012 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Since qualifying, she has developed a strong reputation for supporting nervous patients, helping them feel at ease and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Patel has a particular interest in clear aligner orthodontics and provides discreet teeth straightening using the 32Co system. She also offers facial aesthetics and anti-wrinkle treatments, allowing her to take a holistic approach to enhancing both smile and overall facial harmony.

Her warm and friendly manner, combined with a strong emphasis on communication and trust, ensures that every patient feels comfortable and well cared for. Dr Patel is dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalised treatment that enhances both oral health and confidence

Dr Syeda Begum
Dentist

Syeda graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2015 and is an experienced and dedicated dentist.

She is skilled in all aspects of dentistry and has undertaken further training to refine her expertise, enabling her to provide a high standard of care. Alongside her work in general dentistry, Syeda has a keen interest in cosmetic treatments, including clear aligners, teeth whitening, and composite bonding, with a focus on achieving natural, confident results.

Known for her calm and approachable manner, Syeda takes pride in creating a relaxed and welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and at ease. She is particularly attentive to the needs of nervous patients and children, ensuring a gentle and reassuring experience throughout.

Outside of Dentistry, Syeda enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and exploring different cuisines.

Dr Parul Patel BDS (Newcastle)
Associate Dentist

Dr Patel qualified from Newcastle University in 1993. She joined our practice in 2021 as an Associate Dentist having worked long term in a number of practices in Essex and has over 28 years of clinical experience.

Dr Patel enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She attends courses regularly to keep herself up to date with new developments and techniques. She believes in developing relationships with her patients which builds trust and confidence with them.

Miss Sarah Brownlie
Dental Hygienist

Sarah’s dental career started as a dental nurse in 2004. She went on to gain the Certificate in Oral Health Education in 2007 and then qualified as a dental hygienist with distinction from the University of Essex in 2010. Sarah is an integral member of our team and she works 2 days per week at the practice offering oral hygiene advice, professional cleaning, root surface debridement, air polishing and tooth whitening.
